In recent years, Rosalie was the Artist-in-Residence at Great Smoky Mountains National Park and with the National Audubon Society. Her illustration clients include the Smithsonian and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. Rosalie is also an educator. She teaches watercolor & field sketching workshops in schools, national parks, REI stores and online through the Skillshare platform. Her first book, Watercolor in Nature: Paint Woodland Wildlife and Botanicals with 20 Beginner-Friendly Projects, was published by Page Street Publishing Co. in November 2021.

    The classes consist of pre-recorded video lessons. There are accompanying resources like downloadable reference photos, art supply guides, and other resources for continued learning.

  • Will I receive feedback on my art?

    If you choose, you are encouraged to take a photo of your finished work and e-mail it to me with any specific questions that arose during the class. I will respond with one personalized feedback e-mail to help you along on your painting journey.

  • I am most interested in learning watercolor skills. Which class is best for me?

    The best class to get started with watercolors is "Watercolor in the Woods". Once you've completed that class, I'd recommend taking "Painting Nature With Watercolor & Gouache" to take your skills to the next level!

  • How long will I have to take this class?

    You will have unlimited, lifetime access to the class for as long as it exists on the internet.
